Equedu was founded on a simple premise: admissions and institutional strategy shouldn't be a game of guesswork. We are a consultancy that merges deep expertise in data analytics with firsthand experience in the international admissions process. Our name, Equedu, stands for "Equity in Education," and this belief is core to our mission: to provide students with a clear, strategic path to the world's best universities, while helping those same institutions optimize their own systems for a new generation of global talent.
Meet Our Founders
Milos Becarevic
Milos Becarevic founded Equedu with a mission to make elite global education accessible. His passion stems from his own journey as an international student, having studied and worked in Europe, China, and the United States. As a scholarship recipient at both Fudan University (B.A., taught in Mandarin) and Brandeis University (M.S. Finance), he has a deep, personal understanding of the challenges and opportunities international students face. He combines this firsthand empathy with the rigorous strategy he developed as a Vice President at BlackRock, where he spent years leading global initiatives, managing complex AI projects, and using data to drive strategic decisions. This experience as an Agile program manager directly translates into his role as an admissions coach, bringing a structured, supportive, and data-driven approach to what is often a complex and overwhelming process.
Nela Srdjevic
Nela Srdjevic is Equedu's Lead Data Analyst, specializing in helping universities leverage data to drive institutional strategy. With over 10 years of experience in product analytics and data engineering, she is an expert in translating complex institutional questions into actionable, data-driven recommendations. Her own international experience includes a study abroad program in France while completing a B.A. at Purdue University. Nela has a proven track record of advising executive leadership at major international brands and technology firms, helping them optimize strategy, identify trends, and develop scalable data solutions. She brings a mastery of the complete analytics stack, including Tableau, Looker, and Snowflake, to build the robust systems that power institutional growth.
Nikola Zdravkovic
Nikola Zdravkovic brings a wealth of international perspective to Equedu, having lived and studied across Europe as an Erasmus Mundus scholar at universities in Germany, Spain, and France. This journey gave him a deep, firsthand understanding of the European academic landscape and the challenges students face when navigating different cultures. Nikola has spent his career in the tech sector, including a foundational role at Microsoft, where he focused on data and quality standards. A natural communicator, he is fluent in English, German, and Serbo-Croatian, allowing him to bridge technical requirements with a supportive, global approach to student success.
